Boat Tracker is a GPS based tracking app that allows you to see how fast you are going on the water and shows you where you are going and where you have been. Great for all kinds of boats and jet skis!
STATS AND MAPS
Boat Tracker tracks speed, distance, altitude, and time. It also gives you a map showing where you have been while you are saving a run.
COLOR CODED
When viewing saved runs your route shows up on the map color coded by speed. It shows where you went the fastest (red) and where you were slowest (blue).
LARGE DISPLAY
You can easily see your stats in real time with your current speed being the focal point.
VIEW TIME PERIODS
See the stats for the last run, last week, current month, or all time with the touch of a button as well as the ability to choose a specific track.
MAP TYPES
You can switch between 3 different map types including street, hybrid, and satellite view.
UNITS
The app supports standard, metric, and knots.
Note: Continued use of the GPS will reduce battery life.

Tracked long ride. App froze and lost everything. Useless
This app said it was recording my whole boating trip (9 hours) but when I stopped recording, it deleted my whole trip. It wasted all my data usage for the month and was a waste of time and money! Dont bother!
This is one of the Best Sailing apps if you just want your speed and have your trip registered on a map. Easy to use - Great Job.
This is a nice and very useful app for people going sailing. I like the map display, and the stats about the past cruises. However there are missing some important feature, e.g.: - the management of past data (we cannot even delete old data…) - export/import data (e.g. via iCloud) With these features, it would be a five stars for sure! Hope they will be included in the next versions...
I think its a great idea but instead of having a non detailed current speed that is really the most important thing that is needed besides the gps avg and the gps tracks. Then itll b perfect.
